ACRI's Attorney Roni Pelli wrote a letter to leading figures in the government regarding the acute humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip caused by the war, the mass eviction of protected residents, the large-scale destruction of civilian buildings and medical facilities, the destruction of roads and electricity and water infrastructures, the siege and disruptions to the supply of humanitarian aid, and the added influence of winter on all these factors. The letter below, details how as the war progresses and the military assumes control of parts of the Gaza Strip, Israel bears increasing obligations toward the civilian population in Gaza.
